Mugwort, Artemisia vulgaris
The aroma of Mugwort is fresh and cool with green undertones. It is calming to the nerves in small doses.

A bit of history:
- Artemisia cina and other Old World species are the source of the antihelminthic drug, santonin.
- Chinese mugwort, Artemisia argyi, is used in the traditional Chinese medicine.
As an herb, Mugwort has been traditionally used in the West in witchcraft and superstition. In the East, it has been used as a healing agent and in combination with acupuncture to increase chi. Mugwort has been honored and used for thousands of years. Mugwort promotes relaxing and soothing feelings. It can be used to promote lucid dreaming and opening the root chakra.
